The 7th Framework Programme |

The 7th Framework Programme of the European Community for research and technology development (FP7) is the main financial tool through which the European Union supports research and development activities covering almost all scientific disciplines. It will run for seven years until 2013. The first calls for proposals were published on 22 December 2006.

Individual projects can be submitted at any time. These projects are designed predominantly to attract Small- and Medium sized Enterprises to use nanotechnologies. In this case the FFG department General Programmes processes the submitted proposals and is responsible for the funding. The regulations of the FFG General Programmes apply.
