Exploration of innovative ideas, concepts and event activities
The activity was part of the program action line "Networks and Confidence Building" and is managed by the FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency.
The call was a result of the re-design of the Programme Action Line after an Interims Evaluation of the NANO Initiative. |

Call is closed now!
The objective of the call was to promote intensified interaction between several partners from science and industry, especially SMEs, in the nanosciences and nanotechnologies in Austria. The call was thematically open and consists of the following instruments:
Exlorations: support for the exploration of an innovative idea with high risk and high potential, max. funding rate: 75%, max. funding amount: 45.000 Euro, demand of cooperation between a SME and a research organisation
Concepts: support smallest companies (< 10 employees) or individuals in the investigation of a new idea, max. funding rate: 100%, max. funding amount: 35.000 Euro
Events: support the organisation of NANO relevant events in Austria, financing between 50 and 100 % of total costs, up to 40.000 Euro.
The budget for the call 2008/2009 is 0,5 MEuro.

23. June 2008, 12:00
15. September 2008, 12:00
4. December, 2008, 12:00 = deadline for concepts "KONZEPT"
16. February 2009, 12:00 = deadline for explorations "SONDIERUNG" & events "VERANSTALTUNG"
